• Job Details
• Critical Care- Float Pool RN position available.
• Min of 2 years of experience in both ICU and PCU settings required.
  • Job Requirements
  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
  • GA RN license required.
  • 2 years of experience required in specialty, no 1st time travelers.
  • Meditech 6.15 experience preferred.
    • Schedule Information
    • Contract length: 17 weeks.
    • Shifts: 645a, 645p, some mids 11a, 3p.
    • Weekend Requirement: Every 3-4th weekend for ER, every other weekend for MICU/SICU/CCU.
    • Holidays: Must be flexible and work in with core staff.
    • Floor specific orientation: 1-2 shifts depending on comfort level.
      • Unit Specific Information
      • Unit: EC Main, MICU, SICU, CCU - will float between these all.
      • Number of beds in EC Main: 25 monitored beds, 6 fast treatment beds, 2 trauma bays, recess bay.
      • Number of beds in MICU, CCU & SICU: 12 beds in MICU, 12 beds in CCU, 14 beds in SICU.
      • Ratios in ER: 1 to 4, in MICU/SICU/CCU: 1 to 2 depends on acuity.
      • Drips: Standard ICU drips.
      • Vents: Will hold in ER until admitted; Draeger vents for MICU/SICU/CCU.
      • Nurses will be assigned to one unit as their primary unit but will float to the others.
        • Additional Details
        • Candidates will work shifts in both ICU and PCU settings.
        • Experience in a larger hospital setting is imperative to a successful contract.
        • Common diagnosis / Types of patients include Peds to geriatrics, trauma, neuro, ortho, and CVA.
