Job Description:

This position also offers a guaranteed per diem and production incentive. Our client is a family-focused practice group offering comprehensive vision care for both children and adults. Their welcoming, professional offices are conveniently located within select retail locations. Optometrist responsibilities include analyzing vision tests, diagnosing potential vision imparities, and prescribing corrective lenses and eyeglasses. To be successful in this role, the optometrist should be detail oriented, able to treat patients with kindness and discretion, from young children to the elderly. Ultimately, you will ensure the accurate diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and injuries. Responsibilities --- Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests ---Diagnose defects of the eye, such as myopia, astigmatism, and glaucoma ---Provide personalized temporary and permanent solutions to visual imparities based on each patient's specific case and medical history ---Prescribe medications, eyeglasses, and contact lenses ---Advise patients on proper eye care techniques ---Keep updated and accurate medical records for all patients --- Advise patients on how to use and maintain their contact lenses --- Co-management of patients with local Ophthalmologists Requirements ---Currently licensed in Florida as an Optometrist ---In-depth understanding of eye conditions and vision defects ---The ability to explain medical terms in a clear and concise manner ---Patient focused Employment Type: Full Time Bonus/Commission: No
