$2,050 to $2,150 per hour About The Position Job Title: Registered
Nurse (RN) - Critical Care Float Pool Location: ,Albany, GA - 31701
Shift: Days (12 hour shifts; 36 hours guaranteed per week) Job
Type: Contract Start Date: 11/25/2024 (17 weeks duration) Job
Summary: Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for their Critical
Care Float Pool. Nurses will provide care in both Intensive Care
Unit (ICU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings, requiring
proficiency in both areas. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality
nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU and PCU.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement
patient care plans. Monitor and assess patient conditions,
responding promptly to changes in status. Administer medications
and treatments as prescribed. Perform and document nursing
interventions and patient responses. Provide education and support
to patients and their families. Float between MICU, SICU, CCU, and
potentially the emergency department as needed. Required
Qualifications: Valid Georgia RN license. Minimum of 2 years of
experience in both ICU and PCU settings. Current certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work in a high-acuity environment. Unit Information: ICU
Units: MICU, SICU, CCU (12 beds each in MICU, CCU; 14 beds in
SICU). Patient Ratios: Typically 1:2; 1:1 for open heart cases
(experience not required). Common Diagnoses: Sepsis, DKA, ARDS, CV
surgeries, and more. Additional Notes: Floating between units as
necessary; flexibility in scheduling is essential. Orientation
includes 16 hours, with unit-specific orientation lasting 1-2
