Job Description:
A company is looking for an HIM Coder I to work remotely in
Wailuku, Hawaii.
Key Responsibilities
Review medical records to identify diagnoses and procedures
Organize and prioritize coding work to ensure compliance with
regulatory requirements
Interact with physicians to clarify and accurately document patient
information
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma or GED
Certification as a CCS, RHIT, RHIA, CPC, or CCS-P
Two years of continuous hospital coding experience within the last
five years
Completion of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and
ICD-10/CPT coding classes
Must maintain current coding credential
